12″ x 12″, oil ink on Magnani paper. Monotype and painting. Palm at Midnight is part of a series of palms executed over 20 years depicting memories of early childhood growing up alone in New Orleans in the 1950s.
4′ x 4′, Oil on paper and canvas on board. This painting was created prior to Hurricane Katrina depicting an impending flood in New Orleans and the loss of a past that I remembered from my childhood on loft above the rooftops among the palm trees. Collection of the artist.
